Health benefits of Green Juice

Most mornings, (when I have time), I make myself a Green Juice or Green Smoothie.

What is a Green Juice?

Green Juice is a deliciously blended drink of a few ‘Green’ vegetables, that are so beneficial to maintaining a healthy diet.

How to make Green Juice?

It’s simple really. All you need are the ingredients, and your all set to go!

First, ensure you have a blender or a juicer – depending on whether you make a smoothie or a juice.

Then you can prepare your drink by putting the following things into the blender:

  • Kale
  • Avocado
  • Cucumber
  • Spinach
  • Half Glass of Water
  • One Teaspoon of Honey

There are other vegetables that you can add to your drink, such as lettuce, celery, broccoli or green apples. You can always add a bit of spice to it by adding half a ginger or squeezing a lemon on top.

Then simply blend, and drink!

What are the benefits?

There are a LOT of benefits of Green Juice. I drink mine on an empty stomach in the mornings because this drink is full of fiber, antioxidant-rich and vitamin-rich nutrients for your body. So whether you want to detoxify your body, lose weight, or maintain a healthy diet, this is the perfect drink for you!

This is by no means a meal replacement, so its recommended to get some protein into your body about 30-45mins after the drink.
